3-What kind of skills will be necessary for jobs in the future?

4-How can the Internet be used positively in the classroom?

1-How/when do you use technology in your job?  For example, how do you use technology in a regular work day?

2-What do you think is the future of technology in the workplace (in your field or others)? 


  1. Uses it for work for information across the world. Then at home for banking and shopping.

  2. My dad said that he uses 25 different systems on the computer for human resources, records maintenance or recording for 300 different people. He uses technology 6 hours a day every day at work.

  3. We collect data for programs and health and utilize them for our individuals every day needs. After entering this data the doctors and psychologists can better serve our individuals needs.
    I believe we will continue to utilize technology and continue to strive to use it to better our knowledge and to simplify our everyday lives and jobs.( Quintin's mom) Q. S.

  4. My mom said that she uses technology a lot at her job. Why? Well she uses it for checking in books and checking out books. Also she said that she works on a computer almost all day at the library. She uses it for the website just to update the website. And also she looks up books on a catalog to see if they need them for the library. EES

  5. My dad used technology everyday at his job. He uses technology to lay concrete and he thinks that sooner or later they will use technology everywhere. Z.E.J.W

  6. My dad said that he uses technology to make blueprints for designs and to print. He says that it will advance to higher technology. It will start in richer cities then comes down to smaller towns.

  7. My mom uses technology everyday in her work. She uses a computer for emails and various programs and applications

    My mom uses technology in her job as a dietition to send emails, create presentations, and make phone calls to her clients.

  9. My step mom uses her phone to call employees and workers.And she uses her computer to email workers and look over files.

    My dad uses technology in his job mostly when he is awake, but sometimes when he is asleep. He uses technology to know when someone needs help and also uses technology to determine when there is a recurring problem, by having technology analyze lots of data.

    Is his field, he thinks coding artificial intelligence systems will be the next thing to better analyze data and detect problems.

  11. My mom uses her cell phone to call my dad when he's at work. And she uses TV for entertainment for herself and my siblings. She uses these tools almost everyday. OH

  12. My mom works at World of Vision in Ankeny (eye place). She uses the phone all the time to answer calls. And when she is examining people's eyes, she uses technology too. She sometimes uses the computer to look up things, such as looking up appointments and looking for places to go to for lunch.

  13. My mom uses technology at work for answering emails from her customers. She also uses to update their websites.

    My mom is a nurse. She uses technology at her work by charting her patients information. She also logs into a special machine that holds medicines with just her fingerprint. She is able to monitor her patients at the nurses station because the patient's have to wear special stickers on their chests and fingers to tell the nurses about their heart and oxygen levels.
